I can't f'in do this. My computer science program is mind boggling. The "supposedly" simple things in this course are so freakin hard for me to do that, im almost ready to give up. Im like doing the worst in my class, and i even have a father who can help with this programming stuff yet i still seem to be bewildered by it all. Im so dumb, everyone treats me as though im not to be taken seriously. And frequently i feel as though people are secrectly laughing behind my back as though "ha look that moron trying to solve a logic problem, his reaction should be entertaining once he gets his failing mark.". pfft im pissed off, sorry that this didnt turn out to be a question. I just need some advice.

You know what? My boyfriend has a Master's degree in Physics and HE couldn't get through a computer science class. Does that make him stupid? No way. It just means that in one particular area, he's not as capable as some others.

Give yourself a break. I think you might have some paranoid tendencies, thinking that others are laughing behind your back -- if you really feel that way, you might benefit from counseling.

Unless you NEED that computer science class, I suggest you drop it. Take some time to get yourself feeling better about yourself.

If you do NEED that class, remember this -- being stupid can be a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you THINK you are stupid, you will be. Try thinking positively and be patient with yourself. Get extra help from your teacher or another student or your dad.

Good luck!

Try not emphasizing on what people are supposively thinking and put that effort into your studies.
