Well, I have been thinking for a while on this subject. But let's face it. Most people don't go out as much as they used to. I mean, I hardly ever see kids playing outside around my neighborhood, and I know that every one of my friends in highschool has a MySpace account. And the main purpose of said MySpace is to communcate with others and meet new people. But how are they actually communicating? Only so much can be told with words and pixels, but actions are louder than words. With all this technology surrounding us, one has to ask if we are alienating ourselves in an illusional way. For instance, the telephone connects us with people at far away distances. But that's just an illusion. We really don't know what the person is doing on the phone, and whether or not you are talking to them, you are still alienated from that person. What are your thoughts?

It depends on what state you are in... but for family relatives living in distant places, technology seems to be the basic medium to use than the usual writing or sending a letter.

And in that case as it was on us, it brings us together.

We are communicating our usual communications as we usually do when we are together, physically.
