Yes I do, but then I don't see why it's "bad sportsmanship" anyway.
Edited
I don't believe "hurt feelings" are relevant. Surely a losing team is bound to have these anyway? If you play sport you understand the deal - if you lose it isn't nice.
This whole thing seems strange to me. Should a soccer team that is 3-0 up with 10 minutes remaining try NOT to score just so the opposing team don't feel a bit worse than they already do?
I've not yet heard the actual reason why people think of it as unsporting. I think this is what happens when a team becomes dominant. Hatred for that team develops and people are blinded by it, convinced that everything they do must be rotten.

I dont care that they run up the score the other team is getting a paycheck to play Def if they dont like it maybee they should try stopping it. That being said compairing it to Madden is just plain retarted. Its also not gonna be funny when in the 4th quarter and up bye 21 Brady gets sacked and breaks a leg or something then where are the Pats.

Madden = Game
The stuff you watch on Sunday and Mondy and the occasional Thursday = Real
I don't have an issue with running the score up, but theres a point where you need to realize that you're not going to lose and take your starters out if for no other reason then to protect them. I've been saying it since they started to run the score by keeping Brady in and passing on 3rd downs and going for it on 4th downs when up by 30, in something that involves as much intensity as professional football and with the egos and attitudes these people have, someone is going to take them doing this as a slap in the face and take a cheap shot at Brady and take him out (I've been predicting it to happen in the rematch against the Jets because of Bellichek and Mangini's little fued)
Now before I get attacked for it, I don't want it to happen, and I don't condone it, but lets be honest, it happens (Albert Haynesworth anyone).
Overall, run the score up as much as you want, but when the game is out of reach, let your 2nd and 3rd string teams do the extra damage,or be prepared to deal with it when someone takes offense and does something about it.

the way i see it, they are paid to play and the other team is paid to stop them, id like to see them break 100 before its over, but if the backups can score just as easy as the first string well its not the pats fault, poor sportsmanship would be if the pats stopped playing, to me that would be a bigger insult than scoring at will!!!

thats not really a good comparison at all. Its a video game compared to real life which is never accurate.
as far as the running up the score thing...doesnt matter. Turn about is fair play that's all i'll say on that and be done with it.

If anything, Belichick should be credited with understanding the odds of going for it on fourth down. Studies have shown that coaches should be going for it more often, especially on fourth and short, but nobody else seems to have the guts to actually put that plan into action.
I wouldn't be surprised to see this become a trend, or at least to see an increase in the number of times in which teams go for it.

madden is a video game...I could care less what they do, but if I was a Patriot fan, I don't want my starters in when I am up by 3+ TDs...I want to win the super bowl, not a game 56-10...a W is a W in the NFL, but a super bowl goes to one team a year, and if your starters are injured, it isn't going to be won by a team that won a game 56-10 with starters...but by a team that wins 42-10, and put in their 2nd strings
but obviously that is just me, go ahead and play your starters, nobody will remember you, if you don't win the super bowl

Hey, let's run up the score for style points!
Let's run up the score because the other team sucks!
Let's run up the score because we can't stop our offense from scoring!
Let's run up the score because we CAN!!!!!!
Let's all wear lace around our jerseys because this sport is getting softer because of all the winers!!!
