I really don't think there can ever be an excuse for it. Unless you disagree?

You do? So educate me.

When you lose your keys in it after slipping through a hole in your pants, that's is the time to shave.

My dad has his most of his body waxed because he looks like a gorilla otherwise. And he's a big, tough ex squaddie so not in the least bit girly, lol. He went for years being hairy then had his back waxed for charity & it just went from there. Personally I think he does look better (my mum agrees) & as I only get my bikine line waxed I have to admire him, lol.

I don't wax my legs, I shave them ankle to thigh every week and have done since I was 14. I shave my arm pits as well.
It's a matter of personal preference, not excuses.
I just don't like body hair and so I get rid of as much as I can.

I don't wax my legs and never have, but I don't see what would be wrong with it. Olympic swimmers do it to streamline their body and to swim faster. All in all, it's only cosmetic, and I don't think leg hair should be a testament to a person's manhood. In fact, I think that any litmus test for manhood should be disregarded as machismo b.s., except for the presence or absence of male genitalia.

I do disagree. If a man likes it, then he should do it. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that others feel the same way. Each to his own I always say.

I heard a lot of competetive swimmers do it, but I for one would never shave my legs unless I lost a bet.

Some swimmers and runners do it. In a competition even a bit of friction counts.

It is done in sports a lot but other than that it makes me want to puke.....I like a true he man, no tattoos, earrings no long dirty nails, no sloppy look, shaved with clean hands clean shoes...and I married one...and brains to match.....

Sure. If he's a drag queen. Or one of those speed swimmers that remove their body hair to decrease friction.
