For not having a country, business address, revenue source and infrastructure, doesn't it seem that the bad guys are pretty efficient, and may actually be winning...just like the Viet Cong did?

Yes. They caused America to spend 2 trillion dollars and only delayed, not solved the problem.

Geez. There are terrorists all over the place and some of them do have countries and some of them do have business addresses. Revenue source? Bin Laden is probably the richest man on da East side bro. The Bin Laden terrorists right now aren't winning because people have calmed down since there haven't been any more attacks in the U.S. of A. They might be winning again if they strike again while our hands are in our pants. But, until then, they ain't winning sheeit. Except for maybe more guns, and more men, and that's about it.

I would say yes also. Some people argue that we haven't been attacked since 9/11, but that's not due to anything we've done. If history has taught us anything it's that terrorist are very patient people. Sadly Bush and his pals don't understand this and the "war" in Iraq only made things worse!

The only way terrorists can win is if they achieve their goal of instilling terror. I would say in that respect they have won, because our government is scared enough to start a war over it. But I guess the question is more of a personal one. Are you scared of terrorists because if you are then yes they have won.

No they are not winning and they will never win! People who are for terrorism are the enemies. Terrorists will LOSE and they will go crying home. I hope that terrorists will get captured and justice be serve to them, that's if they are still alive.

What... how could you even wonder? Even though the USA is spending a whole lot more money then we should it is necessary to do. If you let the thought that the terrorist are winning, then we might have all ready lost and should be wearing turbans and throwing grenades at our neighbors.

I'm afraid so. Because THEY set out to cause Fear & Mayhem amongst the Masses, and that's EXACTLY what they've achieved... And we're the poorer for it, because we've given up some of our Liberties- to stop something that CAN'T be totally stopped; a person BOUND & DETERMINED- to kill people... :(

They don't have to win. They just need to exist to force governments to limit the freedom of their people.
