i had to crash land my F-18 on an American carreir because my landing gear wouldnt come out. i Radioed it in when i was about to land on my Australian carrier. But they had too many planes on deck to risk a crash landing.

so i had to fly for another hour to an American carrier becasue all their planes were out flying.

I slid along on my belly and stopped, about 18 metres before i fell off the back of the carrier.

The flight attendants were serving drinks, everything was fine. Then TURBULENCE like I've never felt before!! The attendants sat down on the floor, it was SO BAD. For several seconds it felt as if we were being hit by missiles -- seriously. People were SCREAMING and I had plenty of time to wonder just how MUCH of this the plane could take... The pilot took the plane into a fairly steep dive to get out of the turbulence and then it was all over...but I was SOOOOOOOOOO glad when we landed safely! Whew!!

Flying home after a cruise we hit very rough turbulence while riding over tornadoes that had formed below in oklahoma. Then all of the sudden the pilot came on the intercom to ask if we had any doctors on the plane and asked them to make themselves known to the stuartist. Scary part was that they just wouldn't let us know what was going on. Turns out that a young lady had had a seizure and we had to make an emergancy landing to get her off of the plane.

I was en route to Germany about four years ago...there had been quite a bit of turbulence off and on during the flight, but there was a horrible thunder/lightning storm that begun while we were crossing the Atlantic, and the turbulence got worse, and the lightning seemed to be right outside my window...I literally felt the plane go up and down and side to side...the lights in the cabin kept flashing on and off...I really thought we were going to crash...I just closed my eyes and prayed that we made it there safely...and we did...it all only lasted about five or ten minutes, but it felt like an eternity.

I've only had limited experience on planes (4 separate planes during one trip). The scariest moment was during one of the landings, the plane tilted onto one wheel and everybody on board gasped. Even the flashy dresser -- the one with the gold chains, chest hair, and tons of cologne, talking on his cell phone about buying and selling stocks -- even he shut up for a few seconds.

When i was on flight to europe from singapore, travelling above the himalayan mountains 2 years ago, there was about a two metres drop air pocket and we almost hit the mountains, passengers didn't know about the dangers we were facing but all crew were informed and we were asked to prepare for a possible crash landing because one of the landing gear got damaged during the drop.We were all praying hard that we don't have to do a crash land and had to keep calm and pretend that nothing had happened in fonrt of all our passengers.
Many passengers asked us whats going on and we had to lie and say this is a normal checking procedure and nothing bad is going to happen.
Thank God we landed smoothly even with one wheel rubber missing and our left wing almost hit the ground while landing!!!
Freaky but i'm still working with the airline though

we were about to land in tel aviv, israel, and we almost touched the pavement for landing when suddenly the plane swooped right back up and into the air! my heart practically dropped to my throat, i thought we'd been hijacked and were all going to die or somethig. haha. turns out there was a plane on the runway that was too close, so our plane had to wait until it was safe to land. scary stuff!
