A couple of preliminary things before I answer this question:

1) "Impeach Bush";
- The man has nothing to do with gas prices, period. Markets make prices, not people. That is a stupid, stupid answer from an equally stupid person.

2) “Nationalizing the petroleum industry comes to mind.”
- Yeah, great idea. Venezuela tried that and their economy is in the toilet. Plain and simple, governments don’t handle anything nearly as efficiently as markets do. You obviously have no idea how dangerous of an idea it is to nationalize industries. I pray we never have a difficult policy decision resting on your shoulders. “If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand.” – Milton Friedman, Nobel Prize winner

3) Your prose;
- I’m not shure, is hybrids the ansur? Does you have a diploma? And if so, hoo gayve it to yoo?

As for the question, leave them alone. An interesting fact that often gets overlooked when people get on their soapboxes about gas prices is that on the average, despite the increasing prices, gasoline makes up for about 3.5% of a person’s budget. Things are not as bad as people think. The reason there is such a panic is that the flippant, pseudo-intellectuals out there are grossly ignorant to market behavior and their subsequent “solutions” to problems that either exist minimally or not at all cause more harm than good. By letting markets do their jobs and keeping government away from them will ensure less painful market adjustments (which are simply inevitable).

Car pool, buy more efficient vehicles etc.

basically we need to lower our dependence on oil. Gas is getting so high because we consume the same ammount regardless. The oil companies will find our tolerance and keep the gas prices as high as they can. Once we lower our dependence they will lower the price until we raise we raise consumption again. Then they will know that that is our sweet spot.

"Is it the oil agencies?" No, considering the fact that oil agencies have not got plenty administration over the fee of gasoline. gasoline and oil expenses are oftentimes controlled through world places or a coalition of world places. "Is it the turmoil interior the middle east?" No, considering the fact that most of the oil produced do no longer come from the middle East. the full middle East could be destroyed and extremely a number of the oil production might nevertheless be unaffected. "Is it the indisputable fact that there is not any longer plenty oil left interior the international?" No, considering the fact that if it did, then anybody's autos might have runned out of gasoline through now. on the different hand, the argument 'there is not any longer plenty oil left interior the international' could be use as an excuse to advance gasoline expenses and fund selection means study. A researcher could be extremely offered to teach that there is not any longer plenty oil (like interior the planet) or there is lots of oil (like interior the middle East). "Is it a international conspiracy?" If one reported sure in spite of if it grew to become into actual, will you have faith it? regardless of the indisputable fact that, that's a fact that there are various events in contact on controlling gasoline fee, in spite of if to advance it or to diminish it. marketplace makers, researchers, vendors, etc. all of them, might have a basic boss/supervisor. besides. With each and all the rate mandatory to study, extract, refine, distribute, etc to grease, you will ask, why is the fee of gasoline is so low?

Drive the speed limit. Keep your care in good running condition. Slow down when you know you are going to stop or coast by putting your vehicle in neutral. Don't fill up. Use only what you think you will need. Do not use the drive thru at fast food restaurants or turn your car off if it's taking too long. Turn your car off here too, at a signal light you know will take "forever" to change. Do your part and don't leave it up to someone else to force you to conserve. Be responsible. Good luck
