I dragged the dear into the woods.
I drugged the dear in the woods.
I dragged the drugged dear out of the woods.
What a drag! What a dear!
But never drug the dear into the woods. Your dear English teacher is correct.

The answer is dragged, because dragged is the past tense of drag. Drug is a present tense verb which means, basically, to somehow introduce drugs (of any kind, including medicine) into someone's body. The past tense of this verb is drugged. For instance, you might say, "The nurse drugged me before my operation."
Therefore, your correct sentence would be, "I dragged the deer into the woods." (As other people pointed out, you have to correct your spelling of deer.)
Hope that helps!
