It simply means releasing the clutch to fast causing either a stall or lurching of the motorcyle.

It's a way to start the motorcycle with no key. You get up speed by either being pushed or going down a hill. When you are at about 10 mph. Let go the clutch quickly - "popping it". The cycle should start. It may take a few times to get the rhythm right.

I don't know about a motorcycle, but with a car it means to let the clutch out very quickly, then immediately press it back in.

That pertains to an untouched motorcycle. The first one who uses it has popped it's clutch. Then you smoke a cigarette.
