KK, communism is not always mean there is a dictator who tells you what to do and how to act and what to say and that it. It is equality.

2007-11-19 16:20:37 · update #2

Do you not believe in a system that values everyone equally? I want to help society. I do not want to live in a world obsessed with money. I like living in a world where I am not better or worse than my neighbour.

2007-11-19 16:24:35 · update #3

Clomo, why you thinking I advocate the government in the former soviet union? That was not true communism. Nobody would die under my rule.

2007-11-19 16:27:28 · update #4

I don't really like living in this world. It is not just. And I know it can be better. What makes you think libraries wont exist? It noy. .........................................................

ak6702, I never did ANYTHING of that. You aren't giving enough details and just making it biased so that I can feel bad for something I didn't do.

2007-11-19 16:34:52 · update #6

KK, you are only 15! What do you know about this world?

2007-11-19 16:35:33 · update #7

K.K., On your other question you said you were a sophmore, so I'm guessing that means 15?

2007-11-19 16:38:29 · update #8

I don't support Stalin and I don't agree with killing people at all. He was a mass-murderer. Don't compare me to him or even liking him. I'm 17.

In America???? Heck NO!! Do you even know what Communism IS?? It's where the government takes away all your freedoms, tells you where to eat, sleep, live, work, what to think, feel, gives everyone the same amount of everything while a tyrannical dictator sits on top of everyone with gobs of money slashing a whip at anyone who doesn't work hard enough. Yes, its equality. But is that the equality you really want??

And that's what you'd want to live in?? A world where you can never become better? Never do anything greater? Never strive for a better life? That's it? That's how you'd want to spend your life? How will you help society if the government tells you every waking moment to farm? You won't be able to help anybody!

If your just the same as everyone else in a society, then what's the point in living?? If you're just another face in the crowd and you'll never be better than that, then what's the point in living?? Really, why do you live? I live for books, to be able to read and write. If I lived in China or back during the Soviet Union, then I wouldn't have that. Then what would be the point in living?

Look, Communism doesn't work. While maybe a select few like you leading, it would do great, but you'll eventually die, and eventually a tyrant will takeover whose only driving force is greed and cruelty. I'm not saying that a classless society isn't the ideal, i'm just saying that it'll never happen, as much as we want it to. The best we can hope for is to help real people in real societies today. Then, when we die, we will see the ideal society.

"Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die. Live life to the fullest...be kind in life, and you will be rewarded in death." That is my philosophy. No offense, but you are only 17. What do you know of this world? Travel the world before you speak as if you know the truth of everything. Perhaps I will go with you.

Okay, i responded to this question and your previous question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjvverQDWb2QJHlRG4Pn8kPY7BR.;_ylv=3?qid=20071119203342AAQrLbg so now i'm going to bed. It was nice sparring with you, I hope to do it again sometime! :) (and I am being truthful.) (And you most definately have your information wrong: I swear on my life that I am DEFINATELY not 15).

My apologies, I believe my daughter has been using my nick.

The problem with communism is that it expects everyone to be equal REGARDLESS of inherent abilities. If we were all equal in ability, I can understand how it works. However, people are more athletic, smarter, have a more keen sense of certain subjects, and as a result there is a premium put on that. You cannot say a doctor is equal to a ditch digger in terms of pay and compensation. You cannot say that a policeman is the same as a hot dog vendor because of the education the officer needs and the importance to maintaining a civil society as opposed to the hot dog vendor.

Just as there is no absolute TRUE democracy, there is no absolute true Communism.

Not me I'm quite fond of capitolism and possesing my firearms(which I'll never relienquish while I'm still breathing) thank you very much.

Frankly with communism nobody will ever "show me the Money" so how is it appealing?

Doesn't matter what color you paint it a Yugo is still a Yugo and will never be as desirable as a 1967 GT500 hatchback. People should not and will never be treated equally. Some people are dead weight and are treated as such.

Communism works good on paper but falls apart in practice because of human nature. Communism requires perfect people to function(show me two perfect individuals and I'll recant my statement, become a communist and give up Guinness). Capitolism on the other hand functions particularly well because of human imperfection.

Anyway I'm pouring another pint of stout and toasting Capitolism, Arthur Guinness, Springfield Armory and JJ's impending move to Cuba,Venzuela, or the Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea should she wish to put her money where her mouth is.

Cheers

A.C.

Incidently Who else is Toasting with me?

Yes, if you mean a system where the oppressed throw off the yoke of the oppressor and achieve equality, social justice and peace. This should happen after other means such as elections but under equal opportunity or incremental changes don't bring the desired changes. This revolution does not need to be violent if peaceful tactics can achieve the desired change. This is a difficult goal , but I admire your courage, and your obvious concern for humanity on the basis of this and other questions which you ask.

I wish ignorant people would not be able to speak. I guess you want to have your family members shot in front you and you want to be taken to a concentration camp where you will be tortured and probably starve to death. In Russia communism lasted for 80 years and 20 MILLION people died as a result of communist dictators ruling. Same thing in China. Please do us all a favor and don't post these questions online. Don't embarrass yourself by getting into issues that you have no clue about. Reading from books does not give you the understanding of this type of thing. Go to one of the survivors of the communist concentration camps and ask how communism worked out for them, then tell them how you so desperately want Communism and lets see if you come back in one piece. The higher power would have money but everyone else will starve. This will never work out only in utopia!

No because it has been a total failure wherever it has been tried and it caused nothing but misery. You shoud have seen the toilet paper in the former Soviet Union, it was barely better than wax paper and that was if you were lucky enough to get any. That is why the Pravda sold so well.

no, those things never work out. we'd just wind up with a new form of exploitation.

i would be happy to see free higher education, free health care. we dont need communism -- a true socialist democracy will do just fine for me.

time for you to take your meds.
and time for K.K. to learn what communism is.
Looks like it is also time for you to learn what communism is.

If any system centralizes power under one ruling entity, it is no longer a democracy or communism. That is totalitarianism, and most promote a fascist model of ruling the underclasses.
Of course promoting a communist economic system is far easier to control for a single ruler, or ruling class, it isn't always converted to such a system.

But don't take my word for it, consult a history book.
