I've been giving my mom injections lately and its been going great. But yesterday i gave her an injection and theres this HUGE bump there and its not going away. And its usually not there when i give it to her. But what do i do? I dont want her to get hurt or anything. And she says that it itches and hurts when you touch it. HELPPP!

Sounds like the injection went Intersticial (area between cells)

Try massaging the area to see if it will go down.

What type of injections are you doing? IM (Intramuscular) or SC (subcutaneous)
What are you injecting if you don't mind me asking.

Maybe your technique could use some help.

The stuff you injected has not gone into a vein so has collected under the skin to create a lump.
Press on it as firmly as your mother can take and it should be re-absorbered

the injection may have caused an infection, especially if you did not clean the injection site thoroughly before giving it. She needs to see a doctor.

You may have hit a vein and it will look like a bruse tomorrow. Put some ice on it and recheck it in the morning.
