How do you be successful in life?

Be happy about what your doing, who your talking to.
Ask yourself this question, do you like your job right now.
If you do then that will make you happy, if you don't then your not happy.

Also to be successful in life you have to do things that normal people won't do.

Success is a realtive term. Success for some requires a family and good kids, others financial stability. For me success is a direct result of consistent hard work.

Education is a key component, we live in a knowledge based economy. Whether it's automotive repair or computer programing financial success is completely dependant on what you know. Some of the hardest working guys I know make 10 bucks an hour and its not because they are dumb or unskilled its beacuse they have not invested in themselves in the form of an education.

One thing which will prevent success is the lack of self control. If its gambling, drinking or spending doesn't matter if you can't do it in moderation. The average car payment in America is $450. $450 a month for something which is loosing value at a breath taking rate. Invest that in mutual funds from the ages of 18 to 60 and you will have over 1 MILLION bucks. Buy a Used car with cash and don't think that your self worth is deffined by your stuff or what you drive.

As far as relationships go, take a step back and put your self in your partners shoes. It's from first grade but still Look at yourself in their eyes and ask yourself if your being a jerk or they are.

Lastly Respect Yourself and Know yourself. Know what you want out of life and take the steps to get there. Have condfience in your abilities and know, not fear, your limits.

Really, success depends from person to person, some people would consider having a lot of money success, while others enjoying life or partying.

Personally I think that to be successful on life you have to accomplish your own goals that you set up for yourself.

To me being a success is having more friends than enemies,
