Krebs cycle and Electron transport occur in mitochondria and the rest in the extramitochondrial cytoplasm of the cell.

I know that glycolosis takes place in the cytosol, and the Krebs Cycle and the Electron Transport Chain both occur in the mitochondria. I would guess that the transition steps occurs in the membrane separating the mitochondria and the cytosol. I'm not sure about alcohol and lactic acid fermentation...sorry :(

Glycolysis - cytoplasm
Transition - inner matrix of mitochondrion (eukaryotes)
Krebs Cycle - matrix of mitochondrion (eukaryotes)
Electron transport chain - inner membrane of mitochondrion
Alcohol Fermentation - cytoplasm (prokaryotes and eukaryotes)
Lactic Acid Fermentation - cytoplasm (pro- and eukaryotes)
