In Superman 2 Kal-el's power's were taken away and he became human so that he could be with Lois. His mom told him he'd have to give up everything and "become one of them" to be with Lois. He loves her so he goes through with it. He was turned into a human, slept with Lois and later had a human son. No sleeping with her after he got his powers I assume, Supe's doesn't do that. Plus he's out in space. Not sure when he left though. In Superman 3 though, evil Supe's does do that, and with the villians girl. She could've gotten pregnant and later had a baby or babies. Not normal but super. He rejected her later in the movie and she was hurt by it. She could raises the kids to love their daddy or hate him. If this movie were left in the time line then this tale would be a great story. This is a better working of the powered child thing but it wouldn't look good for Supe's rep, but it would make him "human".

Yes No and there should be no kid.

We have no idea how the depower a Kryptonian machine works. Unless it rewrites his DNA it is unlikely that Kal-El's potential for super powers wouldn't be passed on to his son.

We also have no idea how compatible human and kryptonian physiologies are. Assuming that the two could produce a child, regardless if Supes had his powers or not, there is no way to know if little Kal would have powers or not.

That said there shouldn't even be a son for several reasons.

1) The movie sucked, the kid was stupid, it was a dumb idea, and Superman does not have illegitimate kids.

2) The odds of 2 completely different alien species have comparable physiology's to be able to procreate is astronomical.

3) I consider the Richard Donner cut of the movie the "real" Superman II and in it Supes doesn't have some magical amnesia kiss. In Donner's cut he turns back time again to fix all the damage and save all the people who had been killed by Zod and crew. Turn back time = no pregnant Lois.

4) If Supes did impregnate Lois ( which he could only do depowered ). If the child did have the potential for super powers there is a chance that he could kill Lois by accident before he was ever born. For more on the trouble of a Kryptonian trying to mate with a human google "Man of Steel Woman of Kleenex".

Let us not even go into the issue of child support.

Superman became human but maybe just in the sense of being depowered. He could have passed on his genetic information to the embryo.

The real question is how inpossible it would be for two different species to produce offspring.

easily this action picture replaced right into a take off of the comedian e book not the videos in the previous it. so something that got here approximately in those would not practice to this one. you will would desire to capture up on your Superman comedian e book interpreting to get all those solutions, fairly lots, Lois did learn of his id, had a newborn by utilising him, Superman disappears for slightly (all people concept he replaced into ineffective, killed in a conflict). A clone shows up and then the actual one shows up and for a on an analogous time as there are 2 of them. purely in the comics! (fairly much like a cleansing soap opera, ineffective yet comes decrease back!)

he should not.

it was a bad idea from Singer, Harris and Doughtery's part. it did not fit the story well, and added unneccesary drama to the movie.

what were they thinking? no superman fan that i talked to likes the kid.
