I'm not saying doctors aren't good people. However you seem to advocate that the rich deserve all their money and the poor deserve all their money, when it is not always that simple. The rich aren't always hard workers and the poor aren't always slackers. They just don't have the same oppertunities to succeed.

Some people aren't good at school, like me. A classless society would eliminate inequality and would establish a society content on helping each other. When it comes down to it is the scientist a better person than the janitor?

Not everyone can get into college. I can't. I DO try hard, however. I wonder why people deny that. The incentive to work in this society would be force. Those who don't work will face going to prison. In this sense, we are all equal. We do not obsess over money, like many in today's society are doing.

KK, okay, I'll apply to colleges with my 43% in English...I'll let you know if I got in...
Besides even if I could and anyone else could, I would still agree that we should abolish money in order for a society to be focused on what really matters- helping each other out. Not being obsessed with money.

We live in a society obsessed with consumerism. There are more important things than money. The point in working is to contribute to society. Do you not do anything unless you get a reward for it?

Because they suffer from inferiority complexes and vicarious identification. They think therefore that they themselves will become reach. It is doubtful that such individuals could even be successful because this complex would get in the way of their creativity and enjoyment of life. An example of this is the philosophy of successful by Ayn Rand..Objectivists believe that succsess, achievement and obtaining material rewards should be the highest gol in life. Thus those do not meet these goals are considered inferior. Many of these folks occupy important positions in the Republican Party. It is a fascistic theory akin in somr ways to Hitlerism

You don't think doctors who work hard to save people's lives are good people? I'm not saying they're "sooo" much better than everyone else, but I am saying they deserve what they get. Do you disagree?

And I disagree with you in that the rich and poor people have different opportunities to suceed. Kids start out in High School with the exact same opportunities. Even if they're having problems at home and have to work while going to school so they might not get very good grades....they still can go to a community college while working and get a degree no matter how bad you do in High School. Once you get a college degree, you're already better off. From there, it just depends on how hard your willing to work. Do you disagree?

And in answer to J-Man, nope I am not rich.

You're absolutely right, not all the rich deserve what they're getting (Brittney Spears is a perfect example), and some of the poor people deserve more (such as my Grandparents, who I plan on helping in the near future), but it sounds to me like you are saying that for the most part the rich don't deserve money and the poor do. Am I wrong in this assumption?

Yes, some people are not good in school. But even for those that absolutely suck in school, you can still work hard and earn at least an associates if not a bachelor's degree. From there, you're no longer poor no matter what career you go into. Creating a classless society is great in theory, but sucks in practice. Look at any textbook on Communism there is and it will prove my point. Giving people money won't make them work harder, it will make them work less. So how is that benefitting them, and the rest of society?

Completely disagree with you. ANYONE can get into college if they really want to. You can ALWAYS work harder, study longer, practice more. "You try, you fail, you try, you fail, but the only true failure is when you stop trying".

Hey, I'm not saying you'll get into the best college, just that you'll get into one. And its not about being "obsessed" with money. Money's just a tool to buy things with. It's a reward, rewarding you for the work you do. If you take away the reward, then what's the point in working?

The point in working is NOT to benefit society, the point in working is to be rewarded so then you can be free to help society!!!!! You're saying that money is the root of all evil...it isn't! What people decide to do by their actions determines how good or bad a person is.

To the answerer above me, I'm talking about the average person. Of course, if you come from a poor family with not a lot of skills OF COURSE you're going to work harder to suceed in life. But you still have the OPPORTUNITIES to succeed what with scholarships, financial aid, etc. And you are lying through your teeth if you say that NO ONE from a poor family can ever (at least) reach middle class if they work hard in school in today's society.

At one point in time Some one worked very hard for the wealth that the rich accumulated. The fact that you don't wish to start at the bottom rung is the same for all of us. Well in truth most of us also started there. You can cry poor me. You will have red eyes & be no further down the line to create some wealth than before. Time to start working.

your utopia will never happen. according to you, if you do below avergae work in school, you should be given the same rewards as those who do very well in school, and well in the workplace. i cannot subscribe to your theory. hard work and determination produces results, and mediocre work produces mediocrity. You are not entitled to more, because you do less. as long as there are people, there will be classes of people, regardless of your rantings against it. welcome to life.
