Yes. The day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) is not a national holiday. Therefore banks, government offices, etc. are open for business.

Yes, Banks are indeed open on The day after we eat turkeys.
Direct Deposit is the only way to go.
There are only a couple times per year when I receive a live check from my employer.

Of course, just like any other friday. Last year I did have a glitch with my debit card. So many people were trying to debit at once the system was down for a period of time
