In this world of paradoxes, anything that is given free has no value in the eyes of the receiver even though the giver has earned it with his life and is giving it to you with love and affection. If it is paid for and got, then it will be worth it in the eyes of the purchaser.
We must change our perceptions, identify the true values of humane feelings and receprocate with reverence and humility. That is life.

Guess its all got to do with "wanting what is not" and the "grass being greener on the other side of the fence"...!
