I would love to make my own ScrapBook Kits but have no idea where to start!?

I'm using Adobe and have a basic idea of its functions, yet I'm lost when it comes to desining a ScrapBook Kit to post on blogs and such. Please help! What resolution? What format? How do I make preview files? What size? Templates? Ahhhhh!!!!

Research your market;-} find out what's out there.
Ask your potential users what they like/dislike.
Take a scrapbook class at Michaels, for instance.
