Definitely! It's just awesome - cooler than the average Joe but still familiar to the ear. Usually, popular boys names tend to be more traditional than girls (I guess parents just feel more comfortable experimenting on their daughters lol - most 'made-up' names seem more feminine anyway). Chase is one of the great boy names that sounds traditional but is still very modern and fresh. If you're debating on whether to use it or not, I say go for it lol. Good luck!

It's too common these days. I wouldn't choose a name based on cuteness. The boy will grow up. Does it grow as a boy does? Is it a name you really like?

Not particularly. It's just a verb, in my mind. So while I could possibly see it as a nickname for something that IS formal, such as Charles, it doesn't at all strike me as the sort of substantial, mature choice that will carry a man into adulthood. More one of those "that sounds cool" childish sorts, really.

I don't consider this a name but in the grand scheme of things, its definitely the lesser of two evils.
