well how do you get famous? like for acting/modeling...
what is a good age to try?

try making silly videos on you tube thats how a lot of ppl get notice but dont ever go to a modeling school and put up $$ cuz they are only out to make a buck out of you.

I know you've heard this over 100 trillion times and i know it is the last thing you want to hear again, but everyone wants to be famous and everyone thinks they have what is takes to become famous. Get the new seventeen magazine holiday issue that just came out, they have a whole article on how to become famous!! That will definitely help you. Also, to become famous, start by practicing something you love, something you know you are good at, are told you are good at, anything from painting to sports. If you are good at posing, practice modeling. If you have a great voice, take voice lessons, if you are a drama queen or like to act like someone else, join your school's drama club!!! It all takes hard work, and one of these days something great might come along and reward you for everything you've done!

Someone can be a actress/model at a very young age. There are a lot of agencies out there that just want your money. Try a reputable agency but just in case, have good grades in school. There are a lot of pretty and talented girls out there and a very few make it really big and famous.

My best guess would be to get an agent, and they set you up for acting roles, photo shoots, and all that materialistic junk. Its a good age to try when you're, I guess, around your 20's to mid-30's. And, unfortunately, you always have to have the looks, the ego, the body, and of course, the talent.

It starts with school. I'm only in 6th grade and Brenna Demerson famous actress goes to my school in 5th grade. Her mom is my drama teacher and I am in the process of trying out for a big play next week. just beleive and dont stop trying.
Try young so you can try over and over again... Let people know who you are so the wrd gets around...

I think what fwhyi said pretty much covers it.
Why do you want to be famous??
Look at what fame has done to Britney Spears... it's not a good thing. You want people following you everywhere you go, snapping pictures of you, wanting autographs, harrassing you, etc.
It doesn't seem like a pretty lifestyle to me. But if it works for you then go for it!

figure out what you want to do and follow your gut and heart...don't give up!!!
and remember, if you don't know where to start there are awesome shows like Americas Next Top Model, American Idol, Beauty & the Geek, etc. they're there to help people become famous ;)

lol- ur right- of course i want to be famous- i think a good age would be etheir 14-15- or mabye even 18- and i'm not sure how u can be famous- try searching the internet =) http://www.ask.com/
but be sure to always be ur self- thats how people will awlways like ya- and try not to do something u can't or don't want to- just do something u know u can give it a try!! =)

go to ANY try outs people have for things
you can search online for places that they have additions near you
sometimes the mall will have these modeling things
other places have interviews for acting
like miley cyrus for example, she looked online for new shows to get a part in and she became the person that the show was all about!
so just look online for additions near you

check out some modeling agencies and start there.
theresz no such thing as a good age to try acting/modeling! any age would b good.
