I doing a ocean mural and really need to find an overhead projects or data project to hire. I can't get it from my library because they won't hire them out the school won't too. please help

No offense; just curious. Have you asked this Q in the recent past?
An overhead is not exactly what you need; although it would work. Opaque projectors do the same job. I've used them for years in Theatrical scenic work.
You might try a general rental place, and/or any theatrical supply places local, that might offer rental.
If you intend to eventually do this for income, you might invest in one. They are not prohibitively expensive.
If you happen to be the person who has asked this in the past; you might also consider NOT projecting all the detail and color of an image, but just get a projector that uses transparencies to produce line images, and get creatively original in the Art.

did you try a 'Just Ask Rental' place or any rental yard in your area?
