Why do you want to marry if you have issues on trust? She is right... she better run than to marry you. A marriage is built based on trust and respect without which, there is no marriage but only in name sake. Whats the point?

Because she wants your assets just in case the marriage doesn't work and you get a divorce. These women's sense of entitlement these days really infuriates me! If a woman is really in it to be with you for life, she'll sign the f*cking prenup no questions asked. Not only does she want your premarital assets, she also wants to be able to cheat and still take your sh*t. DON'T MARRY THIS WOMAN!!! Find another woman who truly loves you and reciprocates your interests and most importantly, who's willing to sign a prenup.

I would not sign the part about contributing. If I have kids and quit work, or work part time to stay home with them I won't be contributing financially, but I'll be doing an awful lot to support the family. According to your prenup, I would therefore be denied any assets. The same would happen if one of you got sick and could not physically work for a period of time.

You either marry her anyway or say so-long.....you can't force her to sign if she doesn't want to.....
.....and beware....if you do get her to sign and you end up having an affair, you're pre-nup will bite ya in the ****.....big time, Toots.
Besides, the divorce laws in place in the state you divorce come before any prenup, especially if one of the parties contest it.....then a judge will decide if the law of the state involved can be waived or not.....pre-nups are no guarentee.........and it could end up a very costly battle.

Asking her to sign a prenup with this statement is telling her that you do not trust her... you are accusing her of cheating by having something like this written up.... Why would one ask their wife (someone already married to) to sign a PREnuptual (something typically done before marriage)
SO... you basically insulted your WIFE by asking her to sign this... I do not blame her and would be shocked if she did not throw you onto the couch for awhile!
Okay,,, reading this question again.... If I were your wife, I would be telling you to go sleep outside with the dogs for awhile until I cooled off from this insult!

A prenup is the ultimate double-edged sword.
A prenup almost DOOMS a marriage to fail in adultery, but not signing one leaves you feeling vunerable because of how society is today.

Sounds like the perfect contract if you are going into business with someone. Geez I must be old fashioned, because any woman I would want to sign a pre nup I wouldn't want to marry.

A prenup.. is BEFORE the wedding... (hence the PRE) You can not ask your WIFE to sign a pre-nup.. you are already married.

If you are not married, and worried about your contribution to the partnership, and she won't sign you have a problem,
.Depends how much you love and trust her.
If you are married,as you refer to wife not wife to be,then I think you are wasting your time.

if your wife wont sign it, she could think it means a possibity of divorce or "dooming" your marriage to divorce, which i personally think is crap. or she could be planning to divorce you and wants the assests
