I have to go to a club for Thanksgiving. My folks want me to dress smart but I'm a casual guy, all the way! Do you think this outfit will fit the bill? Check out the shoes especially, please. Thanks! :D

The place is a pretty posh country club in Va. Beach.

The shoes are definitely not going to cut the mustard at the country club after 6pm. The rest of the ensemble shows me that you are a sexy hawt man... lol.
A light weight dinner jacket over that jumper (if you need the jumper) and closed leather shoes are safe standards. You are right.. denim is definitely off the list.
The colour combo (shoes to jumper and shoes/shirt) is very pleasant btw.. do you work in the fashion industry?

Change the pants and the shoes! This outfit would be good for an everyday affair but not a club on a holiday.I'd get some darker colored kacki dress pants and some dark brown "dress shoes" to fit your taste as well. Go ahead and impress your family! These extras might come in handy again one day if you have to go buy them. But definately kick those shoes to the curb for Thanksgiving! You can wear them anytime! Make sure you post us a new outfit if you change it!!!

The entire outfit looks appropriate for any informal or semi-formal occasion. The only marginal part of your attire might be the the choice of tennis-shoes as opposed to ordinary casual leather footwear.

I think that will be alright. It could be better though. The shoes are sneakers so it depends if there is a dress code. How fancy is this place? If it's fancy I would say no to the sneakers. Sorry.

I hate to tell you this, but that outfit looks like you go to a Catholic school. And the shoes are terrible for a club.
Just get yourself a nice pair of khakis (NOT CORDS!)
And a good men's shirt to go with it. And some loafers, NOT SNEAKERS.

It depends on what type of club..... country club?
And how formally is everyone else dressing? This is fine for a nice casual occasion....

Leave the all star wannabes at home. The rest looks fine. All the best.
