Oxydizing agents like Chlorine or Peroxide don't remove blood stains. They hide them by bleaching the stains until they are invisible.
* Fresh blood stain removal -
1. Flush as much of the blood away in cold water.
2. Wash with any laundry powder in cold water (Temps >35 C or 95 F set blood stains).
3. Then rinse with cold water.
* Set blood stains (Yellow rust like stains contain iron) -
For set blood stains, a Phosphoric or Oxalic acid containing rust removers (Try RoVer, Whink - Home Depot) can be used to dissolve stains. Rinse twice with warm water.
Then wash as normal with laundry detergent.
Good Luck!!

First, don't dry the shirt until after the stain's removed. Blood is a protein based stain and heat sets it permanently.
Rub the stain with cold water and an oxygen-based bleach like OxyClean, then let the paste set on the blood for 30 minutes or so.
Carbona also makes a protein stain remover; those products are available in the laundry aisle at the grocery store.

Try washing soda--Arm and Hammer brand, in a yellow box (in with the weird laundry stuff like blueing and Borax.) I recently discovered it, and that stuff WORKS. No lie, it got rid of old pit stains from like 10 years ago, and it says it works on blood, too (though I haven't bled on my clothes recently, so I haven't had a chance to try it.) You can pre-soak with it or use it as a laundry additive. I've never used peroxide--I guess it would work. But I'm sold on washing soda--I'd say, give that a try and use the peroxide if it doesn't work. But peroxide is the bleach in hair products...it does bleach stuff. Shouldn't be a problem on gray, since gray is often colorfast, but you never know. Washing soda isn't a bleach per se, though, it's a "laundry booster"--it increases the alkalinity of your wash water which helps break down stains and wash them away (chlorine bleach also increases the alkalinity of your wash water, but it breaks down dyes as well as stains.) Try the washing soda. You might be surprised!

I use awesome
you can buy it at any dollar store or dollar general store, same for dollar tree
O_O sometimes my nose bleeds and I had stains on my sheets, and even after they are dry, I just spray awesome on the stains, and let it there for a little while and scrub.
I noticed that as soon as the liquid hits the stain, it turns another color and I can easily scrub it and it comes off.
try it and I hope it works
I love that product, is also good to take off grease from the stove and other areas, it also takes dirt pretty good. I also noticed that it is real good taking car grease off your hands.

When using peroxide, the fabric needs to be dry when you apply it. Keep pouring a little more on until it stops bubbling.
You can also soak the blood soaked garment in Biz just mix up a rather strong mixture of it in a bucket with enough water to cover the garment and leave it in the mixture until the blood stain it gone.

Unseasoned meat tenderizer. Dampen the stain with cold water and generously sprinkle the tenderizer over the stain. Let it set for a few minutes then wash it as usual but in cold water. Believe me, it works!

There is a product called "Simple Green" sold in the states. You can buy it at Wal-mart or any auto parts store. Then wash the shirt in cold water with bleach. Hang to dry. Works everytime.

probably have to wash it a bunch of times, do not dry it in the dryer, just wash it again and again. if it's white you can rub a little oxy clean into it with a drop of water to make a paste, rub in it then wash again and again and again, it will come out.
the trick with the peroxide is to get to it right away, soak it for a few mins in the peroxide, then wash it again with cold water and bar soap.
good luck getting it out, keep on washing it, it will come out!
