put in a clean white towel - add bleach and run that through a hot water cycle (low water). Worked for me - just did it today.
Also, if the towel turns blue do it again until it comes out white (new towel each time

I use 409 on a covered wisk broom lol maybe there is an easier way but a towel isn't heavy enough to do much good unless you want to drive up your electric bill. I have been washing clothes for 30 years, trust me :}

You could try washing it down with some bleach but, rinse it off really really well so other clothes don't get bleached. Mine is blue too. I never thought about it before, Now I'll have to clean mine too.

use water and bleach, wipe it out perhaps a few times it will come out eventually,, run the dryer with rags in it after you wipe out, some blue may still be in there and will ruin your clothes .

The stained dryer drum won't hurt anything to leave it the way it is. ....They all stain over time.....
