my assignment is to make different equations and plot them so that they form some sort of picture using different functions such as absolute value function, peicewise function... please help i have no idea what i am doing!!

Choose x-values, evaluate the equations for those x-values to get y-values, and then plot the pairs of x-values and y-values. Choose enough x-values to show the behavior of the entire graph; if the function is piecewise, make sure you have points in each section. Since you are choosing the x-values yourself, choose easy ones like -2, -1, 0, 1, and 2, unless of course you need to choose certain values to include parts of a piecewise graph.
