I did in August. My hair went from being at my chest to just below my ears. A lot more managable, though. My hair's very thick and curly.

i have donated my hair to locks of love. after i found out my mom had breast cancer

No, I haven't and sure I would, but when I get my hair cut, the hair that falls isn't long enough for donation. I'd have to shave my head bald in order to donate it.
By the way, I have thick hair, too.

i donated 8 inches about 2 yrs ago! my hair was below my butt!

i'm working on mine. it's just above my chest right now. i'm going to try to grow it out until the end of next year, then get a haircut that's short and cute!!!
