Is it possible to get a positive OPK in the morning and a negative that night?

Is this correct? Or a false positive of some sort? Thanx!

No I didnt check the first morning urine. I tested around 2pm then again at 9pm just to make sure it was still positive. But it wasnt.

You may be having a very short LH surge, which is why it's good to test 2x a day. You aren't using first morning urine right? There is a lot of LH first thing in the morning, because it builds up, and it could cause a false positive. This websight was always helpful to me.
