For the same reason they knock the Pats... Jealousy.
T.O. is one of the premier receivers in the game today. Sure, I'd love to see more players like Barry Sanders just hand the ball to the official when they score, but, that's not today's NFL. T.O. in the past has put himself above the team which has caused the feelings of hatred towards him.

As a 49er fan (who by the way is not sore), I thought T.O. was fantastic as a player for his entire tenure in red and gold. His first year with the Eagles was spectacular. However, when you participate in a team sport, it is essential that you stay faithful to that team. Calling your QB out of the closet (as he did in SF) or saying that your team would be better served if it had a different QB (as he did in Philly) does not sit right with your teammates nor should it sit right with the fans. Is he a great receiver? You bet. However a few good games is not going to make up for all his mistakes and the crap that we as fans and his teamates have had to put up with. If you think it should then let me ask : Does a 10-0 start by the Pats erase any wrongdoing in the whole spygate issue. No, it doesn't. People will remember the Patriots as cheaters, just as T.O. will be remembered more for his antics than the numbers he puts up.

Teams just need to figure out that if you cover/stop TO, you stop the cowgirl offense. TO isn't the best all time either. I remember a few years of him being a "crybaby" because he wasn't on a winning team and the ball didn't come to him enough. That is also how Moss is.

No one has ever questioned his ability. It has always been his character. He is behaving this year because things are going well. If things were to start going bad, he would return to his old way. When people throw out his stats why dont they mention he lead the league in dropped passes the past two years.
Saints fan so no reason to side for or against him

Maybe when people think about TO, they think about him back as a Eagles player or his touchdown dances. But this year, he has improved both on and of the field.
I am a proud San Diego Chargers fan!! (Even though they aren't doing very well this season.) But hey, every team has its ups and downs!!!!

Never questioned his football skills, he is one of the very best in the NFL. In past it was his mouth and his antics that left a bad taste in peoples mouth, he is definitely a hot dog and a showboater but I'll admit he has toned it down considerably this year.

He's talented. I won't go so far as best of all time but he is definitely talented.
He's just a horrible person. Now, I guess to some people, character matters, but I'm sure that you can see right past his lack of intelligence or grace and get gooey-eyed over your Cowboys' record.

Its becuase he runs his mouth so much. Alot of people talk crap about him just becuase of that. I dont have a favorite team but i think he is a great WR

Because of his big mouth. He has caused trouble wherever he has been. I like him more this year because he's not running his mouth as much, but there's a long way to go in 07.
