I was thinking that the Steelers were the real deal, but after seeing that game yesterday I have to wonder. What do you think?

Full disclosure: I am a Pats fan and just wanted to see how many people would bring up how the Steelers are gonna beat them.

Their offensive line was exposed to be what it really is. In reality, the Steelers have always been that bad. THeir offensive line does NOT give any protection at all, forcing Ben to not only commit turnovers, but find it difficult to score points. The only reason the Steelers have been so successful is the defense. For instance, against the Ravens the defense commited turnover after turnover giving a huge advantage for the Steeler offense as the field position was great. Plus, the Ravens were using 5th string cornerbacks that were blowing coverage. Against the Browns, the Steeler offense was able to score well, but they were facing a bad defense. At the Jets, their offensive weaknesses were exposed as the defense struggled to create vital turnovers like they always do. Since the Steelers had to usually drive up the field themselves, their very weak offensive line screwed them up and caused them to look bad out there.

I'm not saying the Steelers should be a 2 win team, because they are still good. But if their defense doesn't quite perform to its usual level of giving the offense great field position and forcing turnovers, then the Steelers are in trouble. Their offense can NOT carry the team.

What "real deal." That's the second bad team they've lost to. Arizona, anyone? So much for the AFC being better than the NFC.

They still are a good team, but people don't realize that this is FOOTBALL and this is the NFL. Any given Sunday...

You have to stop judging teams game to game, like the sportswriters do, and think about team history's and the past weeks, and look at trends, not just incidents.

They sucked. The Jets beat them, that's gotta be very embarrassing. Can some more people tell me how great the Steelers are?

I was thinking maybe the steelers were on of the better teams, but all season they have been horrible on the road, beating only horrible teams. they are a better than average team, but no they are not a great team.

they were once again exposed for what they really are. a one dimensional team that when the run game is shut down have a qb that cannot win a game by himself. the pats know this very well and will expsose the same weaknesses on dec 9th.
