Seamen are the people who work on ships. The term is confusingly applied to female staff.
Siemens are units of electrical conductivity, inverse ohms (which measure resistance).
If you find a woman with a high rank among the seamen, you might also find a lot of resistance in trying to seduce her.

Semen is what a man ejaculates; sperm and fluid. Siemens is an electronics company. Care to know what a seaman is too?
