It depends on what type of pizza you are looking for. There are New York pizzas, Chicago style pizzas, California pizzas, and fast food chain pizzas.
I like New York pizza the best. Joe's Pizza from Manhattan just opened up a place in Santa Monica, CA that is awesome. A16 in San Francisco makes a pizza worth a trip across the country to enjoy (although not fast food).
For fast food chain pizza, Papa John's thin crust is all right.

Pizza Chicago in San Jose CA, I 'm in sales Advertising I travel all over the USA and Europe every time I go out I try pizza places that say are number 1 in there city but Pizza Chicago hands down I think because it's gourmet pizza

Among the chains there are some Brick Oven pizza places that give a great crispy crust from the high temperatures inside the oven. Bertucci's is a popular chain in New England. Not only is the pizza great but they also make lots of little rolls from the pizza dough for each table and give little kids blobs of raw dough to use as play-dough while waiting for th order.

Mama Luna's here in Chicago. They have the best pizza and spaghetti that I have ever tasted. Giordanos, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Lil Ceasers are okay.

Some people like a lot of oregano and others like more bay leaf. Some like thin pizzas and some like thick crusts.
So it will be hard for someone else to tell you which is best.
Their best tasting pizza could taste awful to you.
You have to try different ones and decide for yourself.

Pizza Hut - has best crust - pan pizza is greasy, crispy, chewy.
Papa Johns - has best dipping sauce - garlic sauce.
Local joints - have interesting toppings, like meatballs, or sausage & peppers.
