Their is no implication from me that they were or are Swingers.But the fact remains these remarks were said on the programme.

You're quite correct in what you say. An ex-policeman interviewed on Portuguese TV and shown in the Panorama programme claimed that the couple were swingers. I'm not 100% convinced that they are, but it certainly would explain why they are so keen to cover for each other to the extent of making up sightings of egg faced phantoms, and why three of them fingered Robert Murat at the police station.
Regarding the child kicking and screaming, yes you would imagine that Maddy would have resisted or cried out. Not unless she'd been sedated, but by whom?

Well, obviously we dont know if this is true or not, I believe it was denied in the programme.
Everybody at the time needed to tell the Police the truth of what happened that evening, the PJ are under the impression that the truth has not emerged yet. Why would people want to lie? The merest detail could have helped the police.
If it was me and my family I would blurt out everything hoping the police could sort it and help us find our kid. O.K. even if they were "swingers" why would they want to cover that up if the daughter had been abducted, so what, their daughter surely is more important than that.
O.K. so they left the kids unattended so why didnt they tell the police that so the police knew exactly what had gone on and the timelines.
The truth is all. If somebody in that group is not telling the truth, it is never too late.

One portuguese police spokesman implicated that the McCanns could be swingers which was of course seized upon by the salacious press. It certainly doesn't make it true and it's unlikely that swingers would take children with them don't you think?
As for the sleeping child - if a 3 or 4 child is in a deep sleep and is moved, they don't necessarily kick and scream. A 3 year old has no knowledge of the world and bad things that can happen and will not assume that she's being abducted. She will have been carried around half asleep many times before.
The programme last night dispelled many of the rumours and I have to say that I can see why they thought the children would be safe - a quiet safe resort and they were close enough to the apartment to be able to see it. It was a sensible and responsible programme.

No panorama didn't report that.
They simply pointed out that on the 15th (or there abouts ) an EX police officer went on a Portuguese TV news programme and said "my sources tell me they are swingers, I can't say who my source is because I will lose it". It's a LIE and he is unable to give his source, because he has none. A close ex colleague of Goncarlo Amaral (drunk, fat, lazy, sacked ex head of the case).

I don't care if they are swingers or not fact is they should have given up all information right from the get go not covered up their activities to save their own bacon.
They should have divulged everything and none of it should have leaked to the public domain. How can they use this information in court now with Portugese secrecy laws meant to be in force?

I hope Maddie is OK and is found alive and well, but until that time it is time to stop reporting everything that the McCanns say/ do/ think. The press and media should give it a break and the next thing we hear should be that she is found, or that someone has been prosecuted for her murder.
