Because if you ask any republican man he will not vote for none of the above. They are conservative, and do not believe a woman can hold those powers, they believe that is a man's job.
Personally I am a democrat and I am happy for those that are running even though I have not yet made up my mind for who I want. We still have a year of the mud slinging between the candidates. Wow it will be a long year!

i think of Huckabee's answer to the 2d question (the 1st genuine question) explains it, in case you think of roughly it genuine difficult. The question PRESUMES that no Republican considering the fact that Lincoln has finished something to advance black individuals, and the 1st actual area of Huckabee's reaction demonstrates that this pervasive theory is fake. So, possibly the Republican front-runners have offered into the comparable fake and ignorant assumption. possibly that's the black community that needs to alter the paradigm with the aid of giving credit the place it fairly is due. I should not be taken aback that that they had see how Eisenhower's movements being left out as a demonstration that that they had by no ability get any credit no rely what they did, so as that that they had be greater advantageous off having a evening off than beating their heads against a wall. possibly the fault lies someplace else. possibly.

There are no African-Americans, as that term is a mis-nomer, that was promoted by hate-monger Jesse Jackson. To qualify for that classification, one would need to be born in some country in Africa, then relocate to the United States, become a citizen, and would not be eligible under the U.S. Constitution, to be president. Republicans have good women, however, they choose not to run. Maybe the wife of Jeb Bush will run as she is Mexican. Finally, we don't need Affirmative Action candidates ; we need mature, well qualified, and experienced candidates, who have earned their credentials rather than acquiring them as gifts.

If Condi would run she would have my vote in a flash. In 2000 Alan Keyes was my choice. The Republicans have several Afro-Americans that I would much rather see running than what we have to choose from now. I guess that they are smarter than the ones that are running. As for as the Democrats go, if a dog were running the IQ average would more than double what it is now.

Do you think political parties say....OMG, we have to get a woman and a minority....no at least two minorities...so that people will not think we are a party of rich white guys....you guys are going to think what you choose to regardless.
The Republican party, believes you have to actually think you have the ability to run our country...and the willingness...not just throw your hat into the ring and hope that you can con someone into voting for you BECAUSE you are a woman or minority...
and also, Condi choose not to run!!

So you want affirmative action for presidential candidates?
Maybe Republicans feel there are none qualified in their party that want to run? It takes a special type of person to run for and then be president.
Why do people like you look at race only?
Are you that jealous of white people?
Oh, and you forgot to ask why are there no Eskimos, Asians or Hindus running on the Republican ticket.
And for the record, if Elizabeth Dole were running, I'd consider her. She fits the type that Republicans need. Strong, informed and honest.

I think there is a shortage of latino republicans...
a few intellectual African Americans are repubs and too smart to put themselves or their families through the traumas of presidency. I haven't seen a woman worthy of the job, dem or repub since
Barbara Jordan and she didn't want to do it.
