Vick heard a rumor that they serve some good turkey in jail.

No, but the real reason is probably because he wants to get out in time next year to try and play football again. He'll be charged a year, and could probably get out in around 10 months. With time already being taken off for starting now, he should be ready for football in August. Now what team will pick him up I don't know.

He's probably at some jail that has the fence wide open made for people who dont pay taxes. He can leave and they'll be like

"Come back when you're done at Burger King!"

I think that when he realized that the Falcons are playing the Colts on Thanksgiving, even JAIL is better than watching Joey Harrington in high-definition.

He's hoping the judge is stupid enough to believe he's reformed and give him the minimum sentence. I hope the judge is smart enough to realize what a scumbag Vick is and sentences him accordingly.

Who would want to be around someone like him. I'll bet the inmates that are in jail don't even want him there. I hope the judge gives him 100 years.

It will help him get out of jail sooner. He's trying to punish himself and pay his time now, so that at trial later, he can say "Look I've already paid my debt to society, I'm all better now!"

He thinks it will show his acceptance of his wrongs and entice the judge to give him a lessor sentence. He will also get out 3 weeks earlier having started earlier.
