I have done the following.

1. Tell them to hold on and then I either hang up or put the phone down.
2. I tell them that the person is dead.
3. Thank god you called, I am about to have sex and was wondering what new positions they suggest.
4. I click over and call the number that comes up on the caller id, when it connects, i hang up.
That is just a few. I make up new ones each time they call.

get the number they are calling from and go to the do not call list and report their A**...if they continue calling, keep reporting. They get fined for calling people on the list. I have reported several over the last few months and now I am barely getting any calls..thank good ness...Or for fun, ask them what time they have dinner and get the phone number, tell them you will call them back. Or if they ask how is your day been, tell them some long winded wild tail about your day. That has worked for me before and the person hung up on me.

nicely, there's a nationwide do-not-call record, yet i've got heard of companies calling those with names on the record, besides. My mom has a caller identity, and that i assume the superb you're able to do is examine the caller identity everytime the telephone rings. If the selection is unfamiliar or it shows that it quite is out of section, you may desire to consistently refuse to %. up.

Two things...

I tell them to hang on and then go back to eat...and don't get back on the phone.
OR
I ask them for their own home phone number so I can call them back after the game or something...they usually hang up.

Very quietly hang up the phone. Don't say anything, don't make a sound. Give them....Nothing. It dehumanizes you and kinda spooks them and they never call back.
Plus it saves your energy.

I usually start talking to them in my native language, or if by some chance they happen to know my language I politely offer them to join me on dinner. :)>

Just pick up and tell them to take you off their list. Or just don't answer.
