In a right circular cone of volume 'V' (no..really !!) find the rate of change of volume,'V' with respect to height 'h', and find the rate of change of volume with respect to radius (which stays constant).
Obviously is a question of finding dV/dh and dV/dr, but I'm well outa touch and I've forgotten..and can you use f.p.'s?

It's just as I suspected - many are good with numerical questions, but so,so few are able to render fairly simple word problems into mathematical lingo. Too much practising what you find easy..

u need to get the equation in a single varialble
when u are solving for dV/dh u need to get the equation in terms of h and for dV/dr in terms of r
