The last British King was KingGeorge... Edward who WAS KING,abdicated the throne in favor of marriage to commoner WALLIS Simpson, which gave the title of KING to Edwards brother, GEORGE who was married to Elizabeth .... They had two daughters, NO SONS.... Elizabeth and Margaret... when Elizabeth (the Queen MOTHER).... when the Queen Mother was succeeded by her eldest Daughter the current QUEEN Elizabeth of England.... since LA LIZ refuses to hand over the crown to her son CHARLES,, it appears that Charles will NEVER actually be KING... but Charles had 2 sons by Diana and Prince William would be the next in line to be KING.... especially if UNCLE CHUCK decides to divorce the NOT SO BEAUTIFUL Camila Parker Bowels.. who he had that nasty affair with while still married to Diana.... Turn in Tomorrow for another episode of DAYS OF THE MONARCH

By the way Camilla can NEVER EVER BE QUEEN because she is NOT the first wife of Uncle Chuck.and was DIVORCED previously to marrying Chuckie..... as I said, TUNE IN TOMORROW....

Because in the British Monarchy, men outrank women based on the fact they have testicles. Now, since the senior blood air to the throne currently a woman, her husband has to be a prince, so as to not outrank her.

Whenever Elizabeth either dies or steps down, Charles will be King and his wife will be Queen.

Its just the way it turned out with the order of birth in their royal family, and there is only 1 monarch so there cant be a king and a queen at the same time.

when the queen's dad died years ago, her mom became queen, now the queen mom is deceases, and elizabeth is the oldest, she had no brothers, so if she gives the rein's to charley, then he would be king, but I doubt his wife can be queen, if william marries and charley give's him the rein, the there will be a king and queen again. and so on right on down the line
