I wish Joe Thomas would be recognized for the honor, but as an offensive lineman (for Cleveland), he just doesn't have the spotlight and the media exposure a flashy running back like Adrian Peterson of the Vikings does. Not to take anything away from AP; he's had a great rookie season. It really comes down to whether or not he can recover from that unfortunate knee injury. If he finishes the season without further injury, he'll probably be the man.

I have to say Peterson or Lynch, but if they're injured for the remainder of the season, I agree with Joe Thomas. Just look at Cleveland's success this year.

In NFL: no question Adrian Peterson. unless he can't return the rest of the season then Marshawn Lynch.
In NCAA: Jeremy Maclin. have u seen this kid in Mizzouri. hes amazing WR.

Adrian Peterson. Only guy who give him a run for his money is Marshawn Lynch and he has been hurt as well.
