I told my mom that I wanted to get a piercing and she said no, I said I was going to do it myself and she took my liscense and grounded me, and I didnt even do it yet!
So we came to the agreement that I can get a fake one for 6 months, then a real one.
And she still wont give it back!

The part that I want to know if you think its fair is that after we came to that agreement, she wont give my license back.
And btw, its a lip piercing.
Not like nipples or anything weird.

You can indulge your lemming-like cravings to do lots of stupid stuff that other children do without self-mutilation.
It's more than fair - she's protecting you from your own stupidity, like any mother should.

This is for real, "pay attention to your MOM", there's no one on this planet that will watch after your best intrest as intensely as your MOM!! Sounds like their is a little power tug going on here, and she is the BOSS!! Don't fall to peer pressure, and love your MOM for loving you enough to tell you the truth, EVEN THO YOU DON"T AGREE WITH-IT!!!

Threatening your parents usually is not the greatest idea because then they feel they must to something (usually bad) to get the upper hand back and show they are the ones in control.

I say it's not fair.
If you have liscense then ur probably 17 or 18 years old.
Ur like an adult so its ur choice if you want to wat you want to do.
And ur mom is treating you like a litto kid.
So,my opinion is ur right cuz you asked your mom first.
Ur mom is wrong becuase ur old enough,and u get to decide.
