Energy is very important to all that happens in our universe. It appears in many forms and is responsible for sustaining life on our planet. This program starts with an exploration of potential and kinetic energy and moves into a discussion of the main forms of energy; mechanical, heat, chemical, radiant, electrical, sound, and nuclear.

First comes heat energy. This was said to be present before the Big Bang even.

Second, chemical energy. This is at the time Big Bang happened.

Third, electrical, radiation, light energies. This followed Big Bang.

Fourth, all forms of mechanical energy.

Apart from this there are other energies we come across like biological forces that can be classfied as a biochemical energies. But they are in a way part of those basic forms.

CH SALEM: chemical, heat, sound, atomic, light, electric, mechanical, and magnetic. So there are 8; and some of these are much alike (magnetic and electric).
