This two moth old boy started passing small qty. of blood in stool ( about one month back ). After few days of this incident, (aparantly) pieces of intestine lining / tissue started to come out along with stool. This happens 10-15 times per day and the child is in a very delicate situation. Many doctors have been consulted over past 30 days and they are all clue less as to what this is....

Any help / guess to understand this complication will be greatly appreciated as this might save a life .

Regards

Sounds like a milk allergy to me. My nephew had this happen as well. He was switched to a hypoallergenic formula. He has been fine since, at 1 year he could start regular cow's milk and is now a rambunctious 3 year old :). My son is also on hypoallergenic. But blood and mucousy stools are a number one sign of milk allergy, why would your doctors not know that? Sounds like you need a different opinion. Look up some info on milk allergies in newborns. It is a telltale sign. Good luck and I hope he gets better!

sorry to hear that! How horrible. What tests have the Drs done? My friends daughter had bloody diarrhea and they finally figured out it was an allergy to milk protein. She could do longer nurse the child and had to buy formula from England! That was the only one she could tolerate. I know it cost a fortune. It was a simple diagnoses, however it took them forever to figure it out! I hope they find out what is wrong! Another possibility could be Celiac disease.

So sorry I have no idea. Try to research it online and dont give up til you find the solution.Almost sounds like the baby ingested some type of object that is injuring his intestines.

I am sorry I have no idea. I would definitely consult with a pediatric specialist and see if they can give you a referral or second opinion.
My best wishes
