my Daughters middle name is Madelaine, same name though spelled differently....I love the sound of this name and I liked an actress with this name, so maybe I am biased

It's so common... spelled many ways, but still ... it's Madalyn, or Madeleine, or Madelinne, or... I could go on and on. It's a worn out name. Twenty five years ago it was Jennifer or Stephanie... now it's Madelenne... or whatever.

This is my Great-Grandmother's middle name...spelled Madeline. I like it and thought about it for one of my daughter's middle names. Looking back I wish I would have.

I think its a cute name but it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks but the parents. All kids think that you should of named them something different when they get older.
