If it's just me and I'm not sharing, of course. But if we're out at a party and I happen to see someone do it, that's it...I'm DONE! It's on to something else after that!!!

I'm guessing once again that Double Dipping is a different thing in Scotland to where you are. Double Dipping is not a commonly used phrase here. I would put it to food and the dips that you would use.

You mean like George in Seinfield, he took his girlfriend to the funeral of an Uncle, and he was double dipping potato chips. The girls brother called him on it, said "Thats like putting your whole face in the bowl"! George said, you dip your way, and I will dip mine. And the last thing we saw was George and the girl's brother, locked in a scuffle.
No I only double dip if I have my own bowl, it is not sanitary, when you have a crowd of people doing this. Good Question Wickwire!!!

I don't consider working part time at McDonald's double dipping. It's more like trying to keep from geting bored from doing nothing all day.

Good questions. Double dipper, I like that. thought you meant swimming! As long as you don't put your finger in the bowl. You are an astute man.
