Why don't the two of you sit down and COMMUNICATE.
It's a common problem in marriages today, the lack of communication between eachother.
If you don't know what's bothering him, you'll never find out why he's being so mean and nasty, and you'll never solve anything.
The two of you need to work it out, talk it out, compromise and if all else fails see a marriage counselor before automatically jumping to conclusions such as divorce.

You should talk to him about it and try to find out if he'd take a supplement or patch to help him quit! Maybe he's just having a hard time quitting and really wants to but can't do it cold feet! He might need help. But talk to him about it and if needed see your family doctor with him.

And yes as the others say... he needs to stop being mean to you NOW! This is not fair to you at all and there is no reason for it! If he gets worst, then do tell him you will leave him if he doesn't cool off.

Give him a pack of gum and package of Twizzlers....that helped my hubby when he quit smoking....although he wasn't mean to me...told him it was me or the smokes...but not both....doesn't smoke after 1 1/2 years...

Don't allow him to be mean to you. Stop it right away. I would be supportive of him for quiting smoking but that don't mean he gets to be nasty to everyone. Tape record him when he his talking and let him listen to it!

He is doing something good. It is very hard to stop smoking. Be supportive and understanding. It will be well worth it.

Sounds like you need to sit him down and have a heart to heart. There isn't anything we can tell you that will change anything you need to hash it out with your man.
