What about overweight smokers? Are they even less acceptable? Aha.
I think being overweight is worse because some people can't change that. Smoking is a choice, for some people they can choose to be fat but there are a small percentage that can't help it. They can eat less, but not exercize and still be overweight. They could have a medical condition that causes them to be overweight. Not all people are overweight because they're just fat & lazy, it's a common misconception. The insensitive intollerant ******* don't take that into consideration. These people get made fun of and ridiculed for something that's not always their fault. That's what makes being overweight worse than being a smoker.

It needless to say relies upon on how lots of one and all. a man or woman who purely smokes some an afternoon is in all probability greater healthy than somebody who's one hundred lbs obese, yet a man or woman who smokes 2 packs an afternoon is way less healthful than somebody who's 10lbs obese. i think of the question has quite a topic in that smoking is a reason for an risky existence-form, whilst obesity is a symptom. i do no longer purely like the argument, "properly, a fat man or woman can drop extra pounds" simply by fact a smoker can supply up. the two progressively decrease the outcomes of the wear achieved. additionally, the two smoking and obesity may be reasons of being out of shape and having a sedentary existence-form, that's risky. If a smoker or an obese man or woman can triumph over that and have an in any different case healthful existence-form, it reduces the outcomes of the undesirable behavior, or a minimum of does not upload on different compounding factors.

Both are pretty bad, but I'd say that smoking is worse, the effects of it are permanent and its effects can harm other people more than the smoker, overeating can't do that. Being overweight can be changed, the effects of smoking cannot. But I don't condone either on of these things, but if obesity can't be helped, then just don't turn to smoking.

Overeating is definitely worse. You have to worry about a lot more than just cancer from inhaling smoke. You have to worry about diabetes, heart disease, and so many other things.
Thats a great idea about the commercials, BTW.

It's not really acceptable to be overweight. Kids always make fun of fat people. Do you see all the videos on youtube with fat kids falling down stairs or dancing?

Being a smoker. I'd rather be a little chubby than cough a black lung and half of my other body parts up every morning.

being a smoker you're not only putting yourself in danger but you also put some people who inhale the smoke you blow, it also affects the world one way or the other, whilst being overweight is a "disease" that should be cured
