Given the fact the American people are demanding change in government and the way it conducts business, does any single candidate really offer any change for the direction of the country? When the 2008 election is all said and done next November, we'll be a nation that has been governed by the same two families for the past 16 years; Clinton and Bush. Why would this nation want another Clinton for potentially another eight years? If people are really serious about change, then they definitely need to change the way the vote. Any intelligent thoughts on this topic?

Yes, there is one.. Ron Paul.. He is one of the few providing any real clarity on our foreign policy and domestic issues.. Unlike other candidates whose stances seem to change from week to week, Paul's record is actually consistent. He is a strong advocate of a non-interventionist foreign policy where we trade and negotiate with countries,.. instead of fighting wars under false pretenses where we put our economy in financial risk and the lives of our troops in jeopardy.. To find out more about his positions on other issues, please see the list I posted below. In addition to Paul's strong anti-war/less government stance, he accepts no money from lobbyists, corporations and interest groups.. He is man of integrity.. which is rarity in Washington.. Paul offers real solutions, instead of just typical political rhetoric.. He truly has the best interest at heart for the average American, not just the elite..

A brief overview of his record:
He voted against the Iraq war.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He is a strong advocate of free trade.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He opposes invading Iran.
He opposes amnesty for illegals.
He will drastically reduce the debt the United States is in, by reducing government spending.. taking the burden off taxpayers.
He voted NO to the amendment banning gay marriages.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

LOL each and all of the Republican are loopy. My vote is with Obama. Ron Paul who sounded senseable on the beginning up isn't a loopy lon. Uncle Fuzzy -Ron Paul has close ties to the bathroom Birch Society and Koch Brothers ( ideal - wing , cons attempting to decontrol each little thing consisting of our air and water, so as that they are able to do corporation). all of us would be poisoned on an analogous time as those Billionaire monsters stay out a powerful life. Koch Brothers father is a founding member of JBS. Racist , ideal-wing ,Con, loopy, wackos- think of-tank or financial company. No to Uncle Fuzzy -Ron Paul!! OBAMA 2012

Yes, Mitt Romney. He has the record to show that he is more than capable of fixing messes before things become a disaster. Our nation is facing a crucial point in our history, with immigration and being on the verge of a recession, to name just a few of many problems.

Mitt is the ONLY person quailified for the task. If anyone else is elected, I'm literally terrified what our country is going to face.

In my opinion the only candidate that can bring positive change and actually win is Barack Obama.

Yes -- Ron Paul. Not the biggest name, not the candidate that the media are shoving down everyone's throats, but certainly the most honest and principled candidate out there.
