Ok I was having a problem with very long periods. When I took a blood test it also showed I didnt ovulate and if i did it happened every once in awhile. So my gynecologist decided to put me on the pill to regulate my cycles. Im trying 2 figure out why would she do that if the pill is supposed 2 stop ovulation and im supposed 2 ovulate...and another thing the pill was working before but like this month my period lasted 11 days and it wasnt the end of my pills either and i didnt skip any pills at all i took them like i was supposed 2. Can someone try 2 explain some of this 2 me please?

The bleeding is occurring because your body is trying to adjust to being on the medication. It can take the body up to 3 months to fully adjust to being on the medication.

As for why she put you on the pill when you are supposed to ovulate already I would recommend that you make another appt to discuss this further with her to find out just what the tests showed as far as a possible hormone imbalance.
