No - stop for yourself.

But if doing it for him will help you quit, then go for it!

No

You should stop because you do not want to have two heart attacks and lung cancer like my dad.

I have been waiting for him to die since Jan 2007 (that's when he had the second heart attack and I had to give him CPR until the paramedics came) The lung cancer was a bit of a kicker, I have to admit...I didn't see that one coming.

The other high point of smoking that no one talks about is bladder cancer. Now, that's attractive in a woman.

No... you should decide whether or not you want to stop smoking. If you want to stop, stop. If you don't, then that is your decision.

It is a little like the question "should I get a tattoo for my boyfriend?" Well... it has long-term (lifetime?) implications, so while some might say yes... I would say no.

Yes. I think he wants you to because he cares about you and wants you to be around for years upon years to come. Smoking is so bad for you. I told my now husband when we first started dating that he either quite or I was done talking to him and he hasn't smoked since. But that doesn't work for everyone. But yes.... quite smoking for you and your relationship so you can live till you're 105 with him.

Not unless you really want to for yourself. It is probably good to stop, but do you want him to get the idea that anything he doesn't like about you, you'll just immediately change? Let him love you for who you are...cigs and all.
