I'm not exactly sure where your getting your sources, but mine says we are continuing to fight for the freedom of the Iraqi people and will continue to do so until they are free and safe. We are also there to provide medical services, establish schools and housing, and to continue to help the new Iraqi government until it is capable of standing on its own.

I'm sure some of the leaders of this country stand to gain a lot by His war,No one can deny the fact that a lot of money is being made by some companies that have"questionable connections"(to say the least)to some of the leaders of our country. If our country controls the Iraqi oil then you can bet American oil companies will stand too gain, wouldn't you like to be in control of handing out those contracts?Since George Bush inacted the no bid contract policy,he is allowed to just hand out these contracts to who ever he chooses. So you tell me who is to gain in all this. Its not the families of the dead Americans who will gain that's for sure! The Iraqi people didn't gain anything good from this, some say they gained their freedom threw this war but they have even less freedom now than before we got there. We all know what Saddam was,but when he was in power there were no car bombings or drive by s or any of that, that's what those people gain from this war, that and a civil war.they lost their water supply and electricity,i dont see how they can even walk to the market without worrying about being blown up. they dont gain anything. The Republican party knows that there is nothing to gain by this war, their balls are to the wall right now ,their boy created this mess, dont you think that they wish this would just go way? haha their stuck defending this moron when most of them disagree with him ,you know that if there isnt any REAL troop withdrawls by the time the elections roll around their done and they know it,i dont think they have a chance at all but if they dont have that as a "bragging point" next Nov.than they dont have a shot..the Republican party wont gain from this.George Bush and his cronnies will gain from this, the terrorist will gain from this by us having to focus so much attention and money trying to resolve this.If the war drags on for ten years and drags us into a recession than we all can say that the terrorist have been successful

that's no longer a conflict. that's an invasion. in case you spotted an person beating a new child, would desire to you call that a 'wrestle'? conflict shows that each and every activities are at even. united states of america purely went and crushed Iraq. Now, pondering the reality that Hussein is a foul character, does that justify to kill limitless numbers of harmless iraquies? Iraq had no longer something to do with 9/11 whether now, it fairly is purely classic that iraq persons sign in to injury united states of america, the country that, on their theory, crushed Iraq. they won't make any replace between hurting Bush and hurting united-statians (no longer 'individuals', for God's sake), purely as Bush did no longer make any replace between shooting Hussein and killing Iraquies. How can anyonw be for the conflict? violence will purely generate greater violence. Iraqui all and sundry is sensible, civilised persons, similar to you and me. because of fact the crusades, midsection East has been the civilised part in those wars. Europe, and now united states of america, have been the hateful persons

When did this become strictly a Republican war? As I recall there were quite a few Democrats that not only voted to make the removal of Saddam a matter of National policy, but also to authorize the use of force. This is an American war, that we did not start.

Iraqis are not the only victims of the Empire's most recent efforts to exterminate them. Americans are reaping the wages of Bush's sins against the Iraqi people. Over 3800 Americans have died carrying out the twisted bidding of Rumsfeld and company. Hundreds of billions of wasted US taxpayer dollars, virtually certain federal bankruptcy, and the steady asphyxiation of domestic programs which benefit the poor, the sick, the elderly, the working people, and most importantly, our children, closely parallel the passive mass murder perpetrated through the US-driven UN economic sanctions against Iraq. Want evidence? Look to New Orleans.
In light of the Downing Street Memo, which clearly demonstrates that Bush constructed a false case to justify the invasion of a country that posed no real threat to the United States, based on the accompanying needless deaths of American soldiers, and considering the resulting economic sanctions placed upon the American people, Congress has a sacred obligation to truly represent the interests of its constituents and remove Bush and his fellow criminals from office. It is time to impeach Bush and Cheney. Once removed from office, these two and the rest of the cabal need to face trial at the International Criminal Court for war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.
We the People and the Iraqis deserve better

Yeah. And we all know that oil is not really important. I mean we all really don't use any oil. It's something we can all do without.

No, because we gave control back to the government. I think they are trying to " WIN " a war that can't be won.
